| 1. Collaborate for and foster the meaningful positioning of nurses and midwifes within nursing and multi-professional health care related contexts.

| 2. Accelerate Emirati’s entrance into and the professional development of Emirati nurses and midwives within the profession of nursing and midwifery in the UAE.

| 3. Strengthen and enhance the regulation of nursing and midwifery within the UAE in line with international, regional and national directions.
|
| 4. Coordinate and support the optimization of nursing and midwifery education and professional development opportunities.
|
| 5. Enhance best practices in nursing and midwifery care delivery according to agreed international quality standards.
|
| 6. Accelerate the provision of and support the sustainment of nursing and midwifery human resources according to agreed indicators.
|
| 7. Enhance the Nursing Management Information System and utilize data to guide decision-making.
